With Seven days down and Seven to go before our adventure begins, I am taken aback this morning realizing what is actually happening.  Sure, this whole “Start Up Bus” idea is pretty kick ass and the concept actually excites me.  I was telling some friends over dinner last night (Sunday) about this whole trip and everyone at the table said there was not enough money in the world to get them onto a bus full of strangers!  HA HA … but anyway!

In the past seven days there are 34 members on our Start Up Bus Miami group. Those 34 members have put together an awesome website here – WWW.STARTUPBUSMIAMI.COM – we have began discussing logistics, arrangements, roles and responsibilities once we board the bus.  We have started polishing our own individual pitches in hopes we will be able to get our fellow Bus-onians to buy into our idea and start building the concept.  We have had conversations, disagreements, decisions have been made and together, us as a group have already started to gel and work at a coherent team.

The idea of putting 30 strangers on a bus heading to SXSW interactive is a fantastic concept and an idea that I can fully stand behind.  However, from my point of view – the Miami Bus participants are no longer “strangers getting on a bus” … we are now a solid, hard working team and on Monday, March 7th … we will meet together to continue this journey we have already started.

There is no amount of money in this world that would KEEP me from joining this type of team!
